Ecoship Engineering AB develops vessels specially suited for Short Sea Shipping, i.e. coastal and inshore navigation. The vessels can be adapted as container ships, ro/ro or bulk/tanker transport. The low emission levels and high cargo capacity of the Ecoship enhance the position of coastal navigation as an economically competitive and environmentally beneficial alternative.
In developing the Ecoship concept, Ecoship Engineering AB has gathered together leading enterprises and expertise within marine technology to exploit their shared knowledge and wide experience in favour of a new generation of vessels for Short Sea Shipping.
